Boise St Broncos @ Tulsa Golden hurricane
Boise takes on Tulsa in a big game on ESPN Wednesday!
Boise St heads into play Tulsa and this should be the biggest test for the Broncos since week one when they defeated Oregon at home. That will be one of the major differences in this game as Boise St is a different team at home than they are on the road. Tulsa has had quite a home field advantage. The Golden Hurricane has won 17 of their last 18 opponents at Skelly Field and they have covered six of their last eight as home short-enders. They are also 8-1 at home when facing winning teams off a straight up win.
The trick to this game is both of these teams play the same kind of football; fast offenses and sneaky defenses. They both know how important this game is and the public is already in love with Boise as the line has now been pushed up to 9 points in many offshore sportsbooks.

Tulsa’s defense knows that they cannot allow the big play. “Boise moves around a bunch on offense,” TU linebacker Mike Bryan said. “The defense has to be real disciplined and read their keys.”
The focus has been on avoiding the big play. Tulsa must not make life easier for the Broncos.
“No cheap touchdowns or one-play drives,” Bryan said. “We have to stop the run and control the pass. If we don’t give up any cheap touchdowns, we will be all right.”
Tulsa has allowed a combined 29 points and two TD drives in its four victories this season.
The bottom line is these teams are very close in talent and approach. The Broncos are 1-10 ATS off a non-conference straight up victory. The difference is tonight Tulsa will be at home and getting points in perhaps the biggest game they will play all season. Tulsa is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a bye week and 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 games on turf.
